STEWARDSHIP SATURDAYS
BRINGING HAWAII TOGETHER
A Weekly Gathering for Culture, Community & ʻĀina
Stewardship Saturdays are a weekly space for our community to come together in aloha, connection, and shared kuleana — to care for the people, places, and practices that sustain life in Hawaii.
This is not just an event.
This is a living circle.
WHAT WE ARE CREATING
Each Saturday, we gather to:
- Reconnect with ʻāina and kai (the land and ocean that sustain us)
- Strengthen community bonds through presence and shared experience
- Honor culture through respectful participation and learning
- Co-create solutions for the challenges our communities face
These gatherings are rooted in:
🌺 Aloha (love & respect)
🌿 Mālama ʻāina (care for the land)
🤝 Kuleana (shared responsibility)
🌊 Laulima (many hands working together)
WHAT TO EXPECT
Every gathering flows naturally, but may include:
- Opening Pule (prayer or intention setting)
- Circle / Talk Story (community dialogue)
- Potluck (sharing food and abundance)
- Stewardship Activities (cleanups, planting, projects)
- Music, Art, and Cultural Expression
- Space for Healing, Listening, and Connection
✨ Come as you are.
✨ Bring what you feel called to share.
COMMUNITY POTLUCK
Food is a way we care for one another.
If you feel called, bring something simple to share —
homegrown, homemade, or from a local business.
No pressure — your presence is enough.
FOR ALL GENERATIONS
These gatherings are:
👵 Kupuna (Elders)
👨👩👧👦 Families
🧒 Keiki (children)
🤝 Community Leaders & Newcomers
We believe in intergenerational connection — learning from one another and growing together.
STEWARDSHIP HUI
Stewardship Saturdays are guided by the Stewardship Hui — a growing circle of individuals, organizations, and practitioners committed to:
- Supporting local culture
- Strengthening communities
- Restoring ecosystems
This is a collaborative space, not a stage.
ROOTED IN HEALING
We recognize that strong communities require:
- Listening
- Patience
- Healing
- Accountability
We are committed to creating a space that is:
💛 Respectful
💛 Grounded
💛 Inclusive
💛 Supportive
WHY THIS MATTERS
Hawaii is a place of deep beauty, culture, and history — and also a place facing real challenges.
Stewardship Saturdays exist to:
Bring people together to care for what matters most — in real, tangible ways.
Small actions, done consistently, create lasting change.
