The Stewardship Hui is a growing community of people who believe in caring for Hawaii’s culture, communities, and ʻāina.
Through small monthly contributions, members of the Stewardship Hui help sustain the mission of Support Local Hawaii — uplifting local farmers, supporting small businesses, sharing cultural knowledge, and encouraging stewardship of the islands we call home.
This movement is built on the understanding that when we support one another and care for the land, Hawaii thrives.
Why this Hui Exists
Support Local Hawaii was created to strengthen the connections that sustain our islands — the relationships between people, land, food, culture, and community.
The Stewardship Hui helps make this work possible.

• Sharing community stories and cultural knowledge
• Organizing stewardship gatherings and initiatives
• Promoting responsible care for Hawaii’s ecosystems
