Jack and Kim Johnson have long been leaders in social and environmental action, using music and community as tools for transformation. Through initiatives like the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation, 1% for the Planet, and All At Once, they’ve inspired countless people to live more sustainably and to support grassroots efforts that make a lasting difference.

Their Story

✨ In 2003, the Johnsons founded the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation to bring environmental education into schools and communities.
✨ In 2004, Jack Johnson became the 50th member of 1% For The Planet, embedding sustainability into the music industry.
✨ In 2008, profits from Johnson’s Sleep Through the Static tour established the Johnson Ohana Foundation, ensuring ongoing support for environmental, art, and music education worldwide.
✨ Since then, the foundation has partnered with hundreds of nonprofits across the globe, amplifying community action through the All At Once network.
