Born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, Mike Love is an independent singer-songwriter and musician whose music brings together reggae, roots, rock, folk, blues, and soul. A Distinctive Live Musical Experience
One of Mike Love’s defining talents is his approach to live looping. Using guitar, ukulele, bass, percussion, harmonica, vocals, and layered harmonies, he builds arrangements in real time—often creating the sound of an entire band while performing solo.
For larger concerts and festivals, Mike also performs with The Full Circle, a group of musicians who bring their own artistry and energy to his compositions.
Whether performing alone or with the band, his music emphasizes the connection between the musicians, the songs, and the people listening.
Leaders, Teachers & Healers
Mike’s recent creative work includes a three-part album project exploring the people, experiences, and influences that shape our lives.
Leaders, released in 2024, began the series. Teachers followed in October 2025, with Healers announced as the concluding installment.
Together, the project reflects Mike’s ongoing interest in personal growth, shared humanity, and music as a way to encourage reflection and connection.
